Our NZAB journey has hit a new milestone, with our 25th new employee joining us last month. It is truly an exciting time to be part of this industry, with more and more farmers trusting us to help them articulate their strategy and plan for the future.

We are still very much in growth mode across New Zealand, with key roles to be advertised shortly, so if you're interested in what we do or how we do it, please get in touch!

In the meantime, It gives me great delight to introduce to you three new staff members, plus a deserved promotion for a long standing NZAB employee.

See you out there!

We are very excited to announce Cameron Smith as our very first Graduate currently based in our Christchurch head office.

We’re thrilled he chose NZAB on the back of knowing that he would be able to work with multiple banks and farmers, not just one.

Cameron grew up on a small sheep and beef farm in Mabel Bush down in Southland, where he spent a lot of his time working on farms.

Outside of the workplace Cameron enjoys spending his time in the hills hunting and fishing, on the trails mountain biking or making his way around the golf course.

Cameron recently graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Agriculture at Lincoln University and has a desire to make his mark within the agricultural sector.

We are proud to announce the further expansion of our Southland team with the addition of Cameron Black who has been appointed the role of Client Director.

Cameron has been with NZAB as an Associate Director in Canterbury for almost 5 years managing customer and bank relationships to drive better outcomes and access to capital for customers.

Cameron has exhibited a broad and unique range of skills right across the banking market and across multiple farming businesses at a strategic level over his time at NZAB and we are thrilled to see him step into this senior role and help farmers directly as a trusted advisor.

Cameron’s natural home is down South as he is originally from a sheep and beef farm in Western Southland, plus he is involved in a dairy equity partnership. Cameron and his wife have relocated back to Gropers Bush where he will be nestled perfectly amongst the farmers he is looking to help.

Cameron is excited to be back in the South and is looking forward to working with Southland farmers; combining his banking experience with practical, on farm knowledge to provide tangible solutions to help grow and strengthen farming businesses.
Prior to his time at NZAB, Cameron worked in the banking sector with both large-scale corporate agribusiness and regional agribusiness customers managing complex banking and credit requirements.

Get in touch with Cameron if you want to know more about what we do at NZAB, or to discuss any funding, finance, strategy or succession needs.
