NZAB was established in 2017 with a vision to put farmers in control of their banking and give them the confidence to grow and protect their businesses in an ever changing and complex world. 

The banking industry is evolving rapidly, and banks are now requiring specialist advice and independence to accompany loan applications. NZAB provides these services, and the banks have confidence in our approach.

Our graduate programme is designed to give you exposure to all aspects of Agricultural Banking, finance and advisory. As you develop you will be able to spend time in the various roles within our business and ultimately carve out a career that suits your skills and aspirations.

We’ll work with you to develop a bespoke training and mentoring programme that challenges you while building your confidence to be a future leader of the agricultural finance industry.

You will:

1. Have completed (by the time you start with us) a relevant agricultural or finance degree
2. Have an affinity with the agricultural sector, and preferably on farm experience
3. Be able to interact and communicate effectively
4. Be engaging
5. Be efficient and accurate
6. Have a desire to grow your skills and be comfortable with change.
